Signature Scents

One of my favorite beauty essentials is perfume. I love love love perfume and finding that perfect scent for myself. I've acquired quite a collection over the years and realized how important it is to find perfume that will actually last you that long. It's definitely not a cheap thing to buy so it's a waste if I only use it for a month then get sick of it - for example, I have full bottles of Paris Hilton and Glow by J. Lo collecting dust at home. Now, I feel like I've finally found a couple signature scents that I absolutely love and know that have the potential to last me late into my twenties. These are all my favorite perfumes and I love them for different reasons. I have all of them minus Daisy by Marc Jacobs but if I had an unlimited budget to spend on perfume, I'd buy it for sure! I have two other favorites that are missing, Lust by Lush Cosmetics and Turquatic by MAC. They're both roll ons that I keep in my make up bag which makes them so easy to bring travelling plus seriously no one has either of these so they're a bit unique :)

Signature Scents

Monday Errands!

So I've finally gotten myself a Polyvore account and I'm obsessed! I could seriously make outfits for different occasions all day long. Today has been a surprisingly productive day thus far. I didn't sleep in at all (yay me) because I had a lot of little errands, like going to buy all my books for school, that needed to get done this morning. This is a pretty accurate picture of what I was wearing today and what I think is a good outfit when you're out running errands for a good part of the day. Comfort is the main quality I look for but I like to keep it stylish too! I'm trying to get the most wear out of my J. Crew pastel jeans as possible before summer comes to an end. I love pairing them with navy blue and cream, it gives me so many different top options. Both of those colors match my Banana Republic fedora as well. I adore hats and thankfully they look pretty good on me! They're so easy to throw on when you're not exactly having the best hair day but they still look polished. The Jack's are self explanatory, they're my go-to shoes for pretty much everything. The last two necessities for errand running are a cute, cross-body purse and Starbucks! Normally, I bring my Longchamp everywhere but I prefer cross-bodies when shopping because they're small and stay out of my way. Again, the Starbucks is self explanatory, since I woke up early and was being productive I thought I deserved a little treat :)

Monday Errands
J.Crew lace shirt, $165 / J.Crew stretch jeans / Jack Rogers leather shoes / Kate Spade handbag / Banana Republic straw fedora / J.Crew sequin tank top

Yay, I'm so happy about my first polyvore post! I'm sure this won't be the last one. I'm excited to play around with all the different templates too :) let me know what y'all think!

Time for a makeover

Hope everyone's enjoying their Sunday! Just wanted to let y'all know my blog is getting a bit of a makeover. It's a work in progress so bear with me! I'm really liking what I have thus far but don't be alarmed if the design changes a little bit more, don't worry still the same blog :) Remember to head over to The Preppy Student and enter her latest giveaway of a $50 gift certificate to a.k.a originals! Their customizable necklaces are SO cute. Let me know what you think of my new blog design, I'm super excited about it (minus the header, I'm still working on that)!

Friday fun & some fab giveaways

Happy Friday y'all! This has been one crazy busy week, I've successfully moved back onto campus, completed my sorority's polish week, and managed to snag something from the Lilly summer sale in the process. But before I get started on that, I want to tell everyone about two awesome giveaways going on this week.

First head on over to Sweet, Pink and Preppy and enter her giveaway for a Lilly Pulitzer Murfette Scarf! Obviously, I love anything Lilly but these scarves are such an easy piece to add some color to any outfit. I also love that it's more lightweight so you can wear it during the spring and summer.

And lastly, head over to the The Preppy Student and enter her giveaway for a Southernly Stated Pocket Tee. The story behind Southernly Stated is precious and I'm obsessed with all the tanks and tee's on the website!

So this was my first year participating in the Lilly Endless Summer Sale and it was INSANE. Unfortunately, I couldn't get on the site as early as I wanted but I was finding soo many cute (and ridiculously cheap) items. However, as I was browsing the site I realized that pretty much every couple minutes, items would start disappearing from my cart. I lost 2 dresses and a top within 5 minutes so needless to say I was freaking out. As disappointing as that was, I was able to get this adorable tube top!

Another great item I got this week was this Monogrammed Champion Wristlet from Marley Lilly. How cute are these?! And for $15 I couldn't pass it up! I chose the purple wristlet and it'll have my monogram, rFe, stitched in white.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Lilly top and monogrammed wristlet. What did everyone else get from the Lilly Summer Sale?! And make sure to enter the two giveaways I mentioned earlier :)

Game day!

Another great reason I love fall is that it's the start of football season! Unfortunately, my college football team isn't the greatest but at least I have my hometown NFL team to root for! When you live in Wisconsin, you're basically raised to be a Packer fan. Since I grew up in Green Bay, I've been lucky enough to go to my fair share of Packer games. The atmosphere at Lambeau field is almost indescribable on game day. The field is absolutely gorgeous, seeing all the supportive fans and our great football team makes me really proud to be from this city. I have tickets to tonight's game (yay!) against the Cleveland Browns. Seriously I know it's preseason but I might lose it if we don't win tonight, I wasn't too impressed by their first preseason game. Anyway, my uncle was nice enough to give me two tickets (club seats - score!) since it's one of my last days in town. Here's some pictures of my favorite players on the team!

Clay Matthews - I think this picture says it all

Aaron Rodgers - he's an awesome QB and such a good asset to our team, plus he photobombs his teammates, how hilarious is that?

Greg Jennings, he's amazingly talented and I live by him! Haha he's a really good and down to earth guy which I respect a lot

Donald Driver - he's one of the backbone players of the team! And he's super cute :)

Who do you root for on game day?! NFL or NCAA :)

So what!

Happy hump day lovely readers! I've decided to switch it up a little and try a new link up for today. It's called So What Wednesday with Shannon at Life After I Dew. These are all the things that I'm saying "so what" to this week!

So what if...

I guilt tripped my mom into buying me new make up today since she failed to invite me to get pedis with her last week

I enjoyed shopping for baby clothes wayyy too much today

I'll probably take a nap instead of cleaning my disastrous room

I move out on Friday and I haven't started packing anything - I'm the worst!

I keep clothes I'll never wear just in case they might work for a theme party

I think Miley Cyrus now looks like Draco Malfoy - Liam come be with me!

Speaking of Harry Potter...the marathons give me an excuse to do nothing but watch them all day long

I'm overly obsessed with my Lilly planner and making it look perfect

Moscato's turned into one of my best friends lately :)

I'm really going to miss the Olympics...and Mckayla's not impressed face

and lastly, I LOVE SCOTT DISICK

That's all for today!

Fall finds!

As quickly as fall is approaching, I can't help but feel sooo much excitement about the upcoming season! I love everything about fall - school starts, it's football season, the weather is gorgeous, but most importantly I LOVE fall clothes. The layering, scarf, and boot possibilities are endless! I'm always looking at Pinterest to get ideas for future outfits.

I seriously live to wear riding boots, they go with everything! Another fall favorite of mine is wearing dresses and tights. I have a pair of cashmere tights that are to die for :) I highly suggest them y'all. Mine are Betsey Johnson from Nordstrom Rack and they were like $12! Easily worth the luxurious feeling I get when I wear them. Last year I wore my over the knee, Vince Camuto boots pretty much everyday. As a result of that, they've gotten pretty beat up so I've had to invest in another pair...

Cue Frye boots. I've been obsessed with Frye boots ever since I discovered this magical place I like to call Nordstrom's shoe department. Not only are they great quality boots but they are SO cute. They are however, ridiculously expensive. They finally went on sale enough during this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I could justify buying them. Aren't they amazing?!

Another fall essential is a great trench. I got my black one last year from the Banana Republic Factory Store for a steal of about $20! I think they're so classic and again, look great with riding boots! Since I wore mine so much last year, I wanted to get another this year but a little bit thicker (mine's particularly thin). I didn't want black either, khaki was option until I saw this gorgeous trench at Banana while I was working.

The burgundy color looks so good on and I think it will be a really popular color this fall. I also love that it's a little shorter than traditional trenches. I'm pretty thin so those usually overwhelm my figure too much. Ahh I'm just in love with this coat :)

Next on my fall list: a pair of good flats! I'm thinking Tory's... As always, let me know what you think! I love love love hearing from y'all!

OHP

It's that time again for Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday with Michelle at The Vintage Apple. I haven't done this link up in a couple weeks so I'm extra excited to be doing it today! I decided to theme this week's pins around quotes. I love love love quotes, they're always such a good source of inspiration and great little pick me ups. Here's some of my favorites lately, enjoy :)

Let me know what you think!

2 truths and a lie

Happy Tuesday loves! I'm excited to be linking up with Mallory and Alana for 2 Truths and a Lie Tuesday. It's such a fun link up and only comes around once a month so I just had to partake :) here we go, let's see if y'all can catch my lie.

1. I've never broken a bone
2. My natural hair color is like a dirty blonde but I dye it brown
3. I've broken up with someone via text message

Which one's the lie?

Saturday's Songs

I'm always looking for new music and once I find something I like, I listen to it over and over again. I love discovering new artists that aren't on the radio and in turn showing people those artists/songs! I think I might doing a Saturday's Songs post every week for all my fellow music lovers out there. I really don't like listening to the radio, especially lately because hearing Katy Perry's Wide Awake every time I turn it on is getting a smidge annoying. It's a depressing song and I don't feel any sympathy in regards to her recent divorce from Russell Brand. Seriously that was doomed from the start. Haha okay rant over! Anyway, one radio song I can't stop listening to Nicki Minaj's Pound the Alarm. It's classic Nicki and I looove it. If you haven't heard it yet, take a listen!

What's everyone listening to now? I'd love to hear!

Product Review: BR Softwashes

Happy Thursday my lovely readers! I'm dedicating this post to my latest obsession, men's softwash shirts. Yes, they're men shirts and from Banana Republic obviously! Now from time to time, when the mall isn't exactly hopping (Monday nights) I find myself folding endlessly for hours. Once that gets boring, I do what I do best, shop. It's dangerous for me to work retail! ;) I recently happened upon the men's softwash shirts and I'm not kidding you these are THE softest shirts EVER. I'm hooked. I love the little bit looser fit, they're perfect for whenever I want to go a little bit casual. Seriously though, I wish I had a boyfriend just so I could buy these for him and then take them haha.

I also love all the adorable colors the tee comes in. I have the purple one pictured above and I've been meaning to buy another one, I just can't decide what color! I'm thinking maybe a basic white since I tend to wear them with my bright norts! What do y'all think? Which colors do you like best?

If you haven't seen these shirts before go check them out! I promise they won't disappoint :)
